When asked to do this show my thought was to show my depiction of emotion through pencil and charcoal. Using siluettes of a man and woman. Not showing their faces but showing the body language that portrays this intimatcy, was the piece “The Touch”. Another piece using just pencil depicts a young boy against a wall, a sad look on his face. Te emotion behind it portraying somehow “Where do I fit in”. Both of these powerful emotions were a pleasure to show.
I Loved the ability to meet with other international artists and come together for such a nice month long exhibition. And what an honor to show my work at the Trippen haus Gallery as well…such a great modern space with gorgeous light coming in….
